The 10" crew height offers warmth and protection from both footwear and the elements, and our proprietary midweight padding design that rises up the heel for added blister protection. I think these are some of the best socks that I have ever worn and will be buying more in the very near future. I do think the price is a little high, not so much that I won't buy again, but enough that I will have to space out my purchases a little further apart. Also, I don't think the ability to keep your feet dry isn't quite what they claim, but then again when is it ever?
