Every Anvil is machined start to finish in GRIP6's own facility in Midvale. Not imported and engraved. It is also why we can replace it. We own the machines.

It will not rust, tarnish, or corrode
Saltwater, sweat and harsh chemicals do nothing to it. Wear it in the ocean and wear it in the shop.
Scratch resistant
Not scratch-proof, and we will not say it is. The brushed and stonewashed finishes carry working marks without looking damaged.
Low thermal conductivity
It never feels burning hot in July or freezing in February. A gold band does both.
Stronger than steel at about half the weight
That is why the aerospace industry uses this alloy, and why an 8mm band can be this substantial without feeling heavy.

A helical spiral channel machined into the bore. About half the interior surface touches skin. The other half is open channel that moves air and releases moisture. It is comfort you can measure, and it is the detail he sees every time the ring comes off.

Rounded, all the way around.
A continuous curve with no flat face and no edge to catch. It sits closer to the finger and it is the one you stop noticing by the end of the first week. Same alloy, same machining, same promise. Less of it on your hand.

Uncoated titanium. The raw alloy, nothing added. Warm grey, with a directional grain that hides a working day.

A tumbled matte texture that arrives already lived in. The finish for a man who does not want a new ring to look new.

Diamond-like carbon, applied by PVD. A hard carbon coating, so it wears better than paint-type or plated blacks.

Will titanium scratch?
It is highly scratch resistant. It is not scratch-proof, and we are not going to tell you it is. What titanium will not do is rust, tarnish or corrode, so the ring does not degrade the way a plated or soft-metal band does.
The brushed and stonewashed finishes are chosen for this. They carry the marks of a working hand without starting to look damaged.
Can it be resized later?
Titanium is not resized the way gold is. If your hands change, that is exactly what The Promise is for. Outgrow it and we replace it in your new size. Two replacements, for life.
What is the difference between the two interiors?
Standard comfort-fit is a smooth polished bore. The Rifled Interior has a helical spiral channel machined into it, so about half the interior surface touches skin and the other half is open channel that moves air and releases moisture.
The rifled bore also has 5 to 6% more cross-sectional area, which is about half a ring size more room (fits like a 10, comes off like a 10.5) without changing the labeled size. Both interiors are available on both widths and every color.
How do I find my size?
Order the free ring sizer and measure at the end of the day, when your hands are at their largest. A wide flat band fits tighter than a thin one, so do not assume the size of an old ring carries over.
I have a nickel allergy. Is this safe for me?
Grade 5 titanium is nickel-free, hypoallergenic and biocompatible. It is the same alloy family used in medical implants. That is the reason a lot of men who cannot wear a plated band can wear this one.
What actually happens if I lose it?
You tell us, and we replace it. Lost overboard, crushed at work, or simply gone. The first two replacements are covered, for life. Full terms are on the warranty page and they say the same thing this page does.
Is the dock included?
No. The Anvil Dock is an optional add-on, machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminium in Utah and sized to the band.
How do I care for it?
Soap and water. That is the whole routine. It does not need polishing and it does not need to come off for the shower, the ocean or the shop.
