I wanted to love this one but - the belt is too thick for the buckle so it will not tighten and does NOT lie flat . I own the titanium and seems the belt on this one or the one they sent me is thicker and also the buckle opening is more narrow so it is not working out . Sadly im disappointed and dont have the energy to return it .

I needed a non-metal belt so I went with the carbon fiber. I can confirm that the belt is metal detector safe. I am impressed how well the belt remains tight in place. Great design. It seems like it will last forever.

For Friends & Family sale, I splurged on the forged CF on a Kodaik strap. I think I'm up to 8 buckles and straps now, so I guess I have a GRIP6 problem.

I have a few GRIP6 belts. But went for the carbon fibre buckle as i fly a bit and in buildings with xray security. So much easier to not have to take my belt off or have it set off security.

One of the best belts I've ever owned. It's extremely lightweight, easy to use, and once you get the hang of the sizing it will fit perfectly every time. Only critique is that, while the carbon fiber buckle is cool, the belt itself is not winning any style awards, looks like you're wearing a seat belt around your waist.
