What an awesome idea! Looking forward to watching these videos. You guys rock! I love this company. I found your company because I started playing disc golf. Now I am a HUGE proponent of everything you are doing. Grip 6 is what America needs to become.

I bought my son a belt from you, and I think he really likes it (once he delved into wearing it). At first I was like, no more emails… but watched the video and am intrigued… so will watch all “fortnightly.” However, as a former editor, biweekly does not mean 2x a week OR every other week. Biweekly means every other week; semiweekly means twice a week!
What is your biggest flop? The one that seemingly had the most potential, that you were most excited about, that you spent the most prototype money and time on… that just fizzled. And why do you think it fizzled?

I have been in to your storefront at your factory location, and I was impressed with the quality of service I was given, as well as the quality of your products. I have a belt (black strap, River buckle – my daily driver), and I’ve bought one for my wife and each of my 4 kids, as well as some I’ve given as gifts to extended family. I also have a wallet (blue with black jacket, no loop) that I enjoy very much as my daily driver. I like to geek out over your products when I see someone else rocking a Grip6 belt, or when they ask about mine. I also love your commitment to keeping your labor force happy and domestic. I’d like to see more products in my favorite color (Royal Blue), like the River buckle, and I’d be excited to see more clothing, like jackets/coats, t-shirts, pants with lots of pockets, and even shoes. I imagine a pair of Grip6 shoes or boots being the last pair I ever need to buy.

Enjoyed the intro! Noticed that some employees at the beginning of the video were wearing their masks, but later, the remainder were not masked, and I wondered why.
I would like to see what you do for the quality control for your products and also what your challenges were as you ramped up your production lines for greater volumes.
Keep up the good work – I have been a Grip 6 belt wearer since you first started up and the same when you introduced the wallet. Love them both! Guess I need to try the socks, too!!
Peace,
Ken

Hello, availed myself of a Grip6 wallet last year. As I’m edging 80 years old I did have a small worry that I wouldn’t be able to handle it but pleased to say its no problem. Excellent product. Grand tracking system also. Followed it all the way to the UK and home. Per Mare. PerTerram.

I LOVE your belts! The only one I wear to work where I’m active and on my feet all day.
My question: Grip6. Where does the name come from?
Jay Darmstadter
I have half a dozen Grip6 buckles and belts, and a wallet with a loop on it. All are good products. How did you come up with the name “Grip6”?
Bert
I love the carbon fiber belt buckle for travel. Most of the time you do not have to take the belt off since there is no metal. Do you make those in house? I would love to learn more.

I have bought a belt, 2 wallets and 12 pairs of socks. I would like to see how the socks are made. I live in Canada and like your products very much. Best wool socks I have ever owned.

You never stated where to specifically leave those questions. Are we supposed to do it here on the youtube video comments or on the website comments for these “In the Works” videos? Either way I’m doing both. Now that you have dabbled in the realm of clothing, are there any plans to expand to something else other than socks? Like maybe a high quality long sleeve shirt? Thanks.

Thanks for the peak behind the curtain, look forward to more. It will be very informative to see the challenges of USA manufacturing in the global marketplace. I bought one belt in November. Love the simplicity, look and lightweight buckle. Will be buying more.

Great Idea! I own three buckles and use them all the time. All of mine are my own design and I would very muck like to see a page on your web site displaying custom buckles (with approval of the designer of course). This would encourage others to come up with their own designs. Maybe make them available for purchase (with approval of the designer) and put the proceeds towards a special project or charity. I have said it before. Selling your products could be a great small business for vets (from home or a kiosk in a mall). One idea for everyone out there who buys your buckles. Take a cut out buckle and put a solid colour buckle behind it. Doesn’t increase the thickness by much and gives the wearer a whole new look. Imagine the Chrome 6 buckle with a red or black or whatever colour behind it.
I ordered a bunch of socks my son and his family (they are living off the grid) and I’m sure they will love them.

So this is an interesting concept and cant wait for the next. How about some hats and gloves, any time frame on adding those to the GRIP6 arsenal?
Mark
Great video and awesome concept, especially not shying away from the things that didn’t work so well. It’s refreshing to see a small business focusing on building talent, skill and equipment to keep manufacturing domestic. So, what’s the biggest hurdle that you’ve had to overcome in getting through your first 6 years?

My family loves all Grip6 products! I would love to learn how you guys build prototypes, and what machines you use the most.

I’m like everything about the belts especially the adjustablity since I am a growing muffin-man. Unfortunately, my belly gets a bit raw if my shirt comes untucked and there is direct contact between my muffin top and the belt. In the meantime, I’m trying to grow some callouses on my midriff.

I’m delightfully pleased you using the best of British words “fortnightly” Jolly spiffy ole boy, tally-ho. I do love your wool socks, most impressive. In the future are you planning to modify this product with a thicker upper ankle section, this would be great for hiking during the winter months for us blokes who wear shorts? A video on the making of socks would be most appealing, kind sir!! Cheers;-))

Products that are branded “Made in the USA” don’t always fully support the moniker, as the raw material used in the producr(s) creation are imported. Do you use USA made raw materials, or do you use raw materials sourced from outside the USA?

I am currently the owner of a Slide-Belt and really like it. I recently bought a Grip 6 for my Grandson and he loves it so much that he put his Slide-Belt in retirement. I am looking forward to your Grip Six, In the Works Series, maybe I to will become a convert.
Greg
Just received my first set of GRIP6 ankle socks this week….and I LOVE them…!! Very cool company…I can’t wait to find out more about yall. So grateful that you are committed to “MADE in the USA.” I don’t even know if the wool sock lends itself to the “no-show” style or not, but if they do, are you planning on making them in the near future? Thanks for what yall are doing. Keep it up…!!

Thank you. Your products are superb and do not disappoint! Have belts, buckles, and most recently, the wallet. All elegant designs.
Teri
I have been pleased with previous products purchased and can’t wait to see more videos. Thank you.
