I’ve purchased many products over the years including belts, socks, and a set of wallets though the Kickstarter. I’m always impressed with the quality and loved the transparency we experienced through the Kickstarter campaign. While it took longer than hoped to receive the wallets, I found myself excited to see the updates and learn more about the process.
I haven’t had the opportunity to learn as much about the process you went through to develop and produce the socks and belts, and would love a closer look at the talent and hard work that went into these products.

I use the Grip 6 with the leather cover.

It is Superb.

What I’m waiting for is say, a ‘Grip 10’, or even a ‘12’. As everything I have is credit card sized – eg Bank Account Card(s) Health Care Card, License, Transport Card, and on and on, and on, I’d like the ease of just pressing the lever to get all of them, instead of transferring some between the Grip 6 and the leather at times. It seems everything here in OZ is going to the card size, as I’m pretty sure it is elsewhere

This is Not a complaint, just a request for something that would be Even More useful than the current Grip 6

It is, the Grip 6, a Superb Product. As for Belts, well, I’ve got to sort out my ever changing waistline, before I finally get belts from this Great company.

I love the quality, fit, feel, and look of my GRIP6 belts! And I love your commitment to quality and in-house production. Keep up the great work!

For an episode, I’d love to hear how you select the materials to use, how they’re sourced, and the process you go through in selecting vendors and distributors. And any related glory or horror stories would be fun to hear!

Love the products over here in the UK, I even had a special one made of my late fathers signature and fingerprints that turned out amazing as a tribute to him and I wear it with pride. Britni worked amazingly with me and we you delivered a fantastic product, and I even got my brother a matching belt tribute to our father.
Have you ever thought of doing some collaborations with someone like Disney as you could probably manage an amazing 50th anniversary WDW product with their Ear-idescant colours? Also, have you tested out other shapes like circles or ovals etc? looking forward to what other products you announce to match my many belts and wallet! thanks

I own three of your belts and cannot recommend them highly enough. Stellar products, quality build, and deceptively simple design.

The mark of a new companies growth is not how many new products it brings to market, but how many times it says no to a product. I would like to hear about your decision making process for new products, and of course, for changes in existing products.

I love your wool socks ! Where does your wool come from- which states, do you mix it up, Etc. Also what was the process for the mix of materials you use in your socks?

What a great engagement forum! i received my first, two Grip6 carbon fibre belts sometime in mid Jan. ‘22 which I finally ordered in Nov. ’21. It took me more than three years to finally order one due to the exchange rates, potential shipping delays, and local taxes. The 2021 Christmas’ discount helped quite a bit, so there I went ordering two.

I’m sure a lot of people from the other side of the world know how great the Grip6 belts are, and those very same problems could well be hampering them to place an order. Would there be a plan to have, say regional fulfillment centers, so it’ll be faster (and cheaper) for delivery?

Great to see how your made in USA products come to fruition! So many people now days have little idea the amount of work it takes to create any product, and the skills and tools needed to do so. Can’t wait for more episodes!

Love the belts and the Grip6 name was all it took to back the wallet Kickstarter. The wallet is the best I’ve had and I love it too. I have a pair of the ankle socks but can’t wear them…my feet are too big. Have you thought of doing some kind of buckle storage? I’ve got more buckles than straps. Also, biweekly is the same as fortnightly. Twice a week would be semi-weekly. Semi is twice per and bi is once every two so semi-monthly is twice a month and bimonthly is every two months.

Great Initiative. As another Perth Australia G6 user, I too was a bit put off on my initial purchase due to the freight and exchange rate. Once I did purchase, I haven’t looked back and use the belts everyday.

My Question – In business and life, the biggest lessons are learnt from failures rather than successes. What has been your biggest failure to date, and what did you learn from it/ what can others learn from it.

Almost best belt ever, the reason I can’t wear it thru TSA flying, I have to use a old Velcro belt, Come up with plastic buckle to use on the plane the metal buckle can be swapped at the other end.

I am one of the lucky Americans that work making an American product quartz surfaces. The truck I drive for them has the flag prominently displayed . I love to support others making it in America.

Another idea is to create buckle to slide a medallion into.

Good belt to wear while fighting Dunlap’s disease. I

We love your products. We use them ourselves and gift to family. Our recent love is the wool socks and new buckles!! I understand the materials for your products are locally sourced. Does that mean locally sourced in Utah or across the US?

Great idea! Been a big fan of your belts since 2019 when I happened upon a FaceBook ad and never looked back! As I’m in Perth, Western Australia, the exchange rate can be a real bummer sometimes, but your regular sales and big discounts soften the blow! I can’t wait to see what stuff you feel are failures!

My question to you would be, how do you get the colours on to the buckles and what sort of colours do you feel might be too “out there” for general consumption and would you ever consider doing bespoke colours in the future?

Love your products! Was there a time when you first started the company that you thought that you were not going to make it? What did you change to overcome that?

Love my Grip6 belts and have thrown all my old belts away. The socks are the best I have ever worn. I don’t have one of your wallets yet but based on your other products I bet they are top notch. Loved the video and would like to see products being made in future episodes.

Big fan of Grip 6 style, but an even bigger fan of the “Made in the USA” ethos. My question is how that mind set has affected your supply lines in these times? Have you seen greater stability in your supply chain as a result of sourcing materials in the USA? I hope the answer is yes, but am very curious to hear your thoughts on the subject.

What does it take to become a creative director? Using the methods and materials that you currently have, what product or apparel would you most want to innovate?

Love the products you all have made. I’m surprised at how actually reasonable your prices are for the quality of work. Maybe you could explain how G6 determines pricing for products, considering competition? (Is the reasonably low price just “from the heart” or is there actually a catch to it?). Can’t wait to hear about how this company started off. I believe one very unique angle of this series, which may be explained in an episode, is how involved your families are in the company (spouse, children and/or both). Do they happen to have first dibbs on testing newly designed products for quality control? Keep making spectacular products!

Long time buyer, first time commenter. Are you all looking at creating a multi pack of just buckles? I have enough webbing straps, but would love to expand my buckle collection while attempting to save a little coin. Thank you for making a product right here in the US! I am constantly telling people I come in contact with about the brand.

Love Grip 6 products. Got my first belt about 6 years ago after listening to a Dave Ramsey episode. Great products made we great materials, I have many belts and straps, the wallet etc. The product is so hard not to share with your friends and loved ones. Our golf 4-some has a tradition the American flag buckle for our tourneys. Keep taken care of people, love you guys.

+ 1 on the guitar strap idea! I definitely think there is a market for a made in the USA guitar strap.

I love grip6 products and your people are the best! My question: how do you find such friendly customer oriented people? How do you foster such an attitude in your company? I am a grip 6 customer for life.

Our family are Grip 6 wallet and belt fans specifically about there simplicity and function. As a maker myself I am always interested in different approaches to the engineering process. What what are the main components of your development or improvement of your products?
Thanks and we look forward to the rest of this video series.
