My name is Jacob Fryman and I am a Mechanical Engineer. I really like to think of GRIP6 as an engineering firm that is funded by the products we manufacture. In the two years I have worked here I have had the opportunity to program three robots in three different coding languages, program lasers to cut metal and etch on multiple different materials and surfaces, and set up a wool fiber testing laboratory. My primary focus is to maintain and improve our robotic manufacturing processes.
Growing up in a small town in Kentucky taught me to be proud of a lot of things. Being able to go to work and make a product that I love to use is really awesome. I wore a GRIP6 belt to my wedding, I wear one to work, and I wear one to church. GRIP6 is proof that with hard work and some good engineering anyone can provide a quality product right here in the U.S. of A. baby. I love being a part of that process.
