LOL that was fun, but you’re right, on average you cannot tell an expensive belt from an inexpensive one! That’s why I already own 3 Grip6 belts. Because all I really need is for it to hold up my pants

Honestly there really is not a difference in the long run if both are leather they wear down in the end because leather for both break down within time and the last thing standing is the hardware you gotta have a durable pliable belt with nothing piercing the material with a sturdy once piece buckle to hold it all together to last a long long time.

The quality of the leather and high craftsmanship of the intricate buckle mechanisms are the giveaway for which belt is most expensive. That being said, it’s a statement belt not an every day belt. Wear fancy belts with your fancy dress pants and expensive dress shoes. Wear Grip6 with everything else. The buckle is smooth, low profile, classy, and goes with everything, every day. I’m happy with my collection of Grip6 while the fancy belts gather dust at the back of my closet.
