The Midweight Merino Wool Sock is an absolute workhorse. Don't let it's low profile design fool you, this thing is built for all-day performance and comfort whether you're on the trail or the job. It starts with a premium quality merino wool (45%), knitted to a form fitting nylon (49%) core. Then we add zoned elastic support (6%) in key areas for optimal fit and performance. It's designed with a low profile waffle-knit cuff that sit's just above the shoe line to provide optimal protection from your shoes. Our  StrongStrut® arch support provides arch support while eliminating blister causing slippage and our  FreeVent® airflow design works to keep the your foot dry in the area it needs it most. I have never had socks that have lasted so long. I got 6 pairs at least 6 to 8 years ago and wear them every day. I have been tossing them out once they get a hole in the bottom of the heel and have 2 pairs left with no hole so far. I'm ordering up 8 more pairs today which should last me until roughly the year 2034. For just over $100, I just can't see how anyone could provide a better value!!

I’ve bought 40 different pairs of socks from Grip 6. Without question they are expensive but they are also the best socks I’ve ever worn. I’ll continue wearing them as long as they are available.

I like the socks. They are: comfortable; don't slip (so far) into my shoes; are warm, but not too warm in summer; and don't slide too much (rotating under my foot). I'm hard to please, so don't think I'm being too critical.
I can wear the socks all day long and they don't bother my ankle at all. I have nerve damage in my ankles and feet. Thus, my feet are always cold. I can wear, and do wear, the socks to bed. They are still comfortable when I wake.
I will never buy other ankle length socks, again, from anybody else.
